South Florida is hard on real wood — humidity, slab-on-grade construction, and the occasional spill. We walk your space, check the subfloor for moisture and flatness, and tell you straight whether solid hardwood, engineered wood, or a good laminate makes the most sense. No upsell.

Engineered wood and laminate hold up better than solid hardwood on a concrete slab in our climate. We'll explain the trade-offs in plain terms so you pick the right one.
Questions about flooring
Can you put hardwood over a concrete slab?
Usually — with engineered wood and a moisture barrier. Solid hardwood over slab is riskier here because of humidity, so we test moisture first and tell you what we'd do in your home.
Do I buy the flooring or do you?
Either works. Plenty of homeowners buy their own from a supplier, and we'll give you exact square footage plus a waste factor so you order the right amount. We can also recommend places.
How long does a typical room take?
A standard room is usually a day or two once the material is on site and acclimated. Whole-house jobs depend on square footage and prep — we'll give you a real timeline with the estimate.
Will you move the furniture?
We can move standard furniture as part of the job. Tell us about anything heavy or fragile so we plan for it.
