In Florida, prep is everything — our slabs hold moisture and the heat affects cure time. We mechanically grind the concrete, fix cracks and chips, check moisture, then apply the coating and broadcast flake for grip. Skip the prep and a coating peels; we don't skip it.

How a job goes

  1. We come out, take measurements, and look at the space
  2. You choose your material — pick the exact one you want, or send us reference photos and we'll find that or something close
  3. We send you a written quote
  4. Once you're good with it, we schedule the work and get it installed
  5. We clean up and walk the finished job with you

We use epoxy and polyaspartic-type coatings with flake. We'll talk through finish, color flake, and how the slab's condition affects the result — honestly.

Questions about garage epoxy

Why grind instead of just acid-etching?

Grinding gives the coating something real to grab. Etching alone is a big reason garage coatings peel down here. We grind.

My slab has cracks and oil stains — is that a problem?

Cracks and chips get repaired before coating, and old oil has to be cleaned out so the coating bonds. We'll assess it during the estimate.

How long before I can park on it?

Foot traffic is usually within a day; vehicles after the coating fully cures — typically a couple of days depending on product and weather. We'll give you exact times.

Flake or a solid color?

Both. Flake hides imperfections and adds grip, which most homeowners want in a garage. Solid color is an option too.
